10th October 2011 Windsurfing: Daymer Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: F3-5 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 16C Sea Temperature: warm Weather: grey Max Speed: Distance Covered: Down for our annual boy's week pilgrimage to Daymer - and what did I do on Friday evening: Only fell down the stairs & twisted my ankle, thus making me miss out on 2 good days of sailing on Sat & Sun. Today, with ankle held together with gaffer tape, it was time to put it to the test: In the end, my ankle was fine, though fortunately, it suffered no trauma whilst sailing. The sailing itself was good, if not gusty; blasting up to the Doom Bar and back. No huge waves. Just as well as there wasn't really that much wind. |
